Happy New Year! 2011 was a great year for Shamerrific
On our journey to become the #1 professional automotive detailing and car washing products; we were able to accomplish so much! Here is a short recap of some of the highlights from 2011.
May: Filed three non provisional microfiber chamois cleaning product patents. Now we have 4 total patents, with over 50 variations of products for automotive detailing, car washing, lot washing, commercial cleaning, and home cleaning.
August: We were chosen out of over 300 submissions of talented inventors to participate in the ICKC Invention Contest. We got in front of a few hundred attendees, which included investors, and pitched our products. We were chosen as a runner up, and pitched our products the next day to Faultless in hopes of securing a licensing deal. It was a great experience for us, and we rocked it!
October: We were chosen as one of fifteen to participate in Missouri Entrepreneur Celebration. We were honored as one of five in our business category. It was a good opportunity to network, get our name and products out there. We even sold some products!
November: Got our first big distribution client. Ordered several cases of our Industrial Automotive Cleaning towel. It is a great feeling knowing people understand the concept, and see the value of our products.
December: Lots of good things happened in December.
Our first patent we filled back in 2009 was finally accepted! They accepted it December 13th, 2011. We worked so hard, and it was such an amazing day! It is not every day that someone can say they are an Inventor and you have a patented product! The sky is the limit!
Shamerrific accepted into the Entrepreneurship Scholars Program at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at University of Missouri (UMKC). UMKC received top world ranking in innovation management research. We are invited to go on a one year journey to take our business to the next. The goal of the program is to take startup businesses to the next level and make them a million dollar business by year five!
We hit our financial goals and exceeded our targets! 2012 looks bright!

Happy Monday! Well, we had a success this week. We sold an industrial Shamerrific to a client that was a two time returning customer to our detail company. He had taken his car through numerous car washes, and was tired of all the scratches and dullness to his paint! Automatic car wash...yes they are fast and efficient! But the truth is, they scratch your clear coat and your paint. They leave tiny little swirl marks, and after a few months of washing it in the automatic car wash, you will notice your paint will look much duller. To fix this, we recommend washing your car by hand. Yes, we know it may be a little more work, but we know first hand that our large or industrial Shamerrific can wash a car in 10 minutes or less. This alternative would be a lot faster then if you were waiting in a line to get your car washed at an automated place, right?! Plus, you get in some cardio! :-) After you start washing it by hand, we recommend a good wax, buff or polish job to make your car look its best. We know of some great products .
